[PERLON91] Ricardo Villalobos - “Any Ideas”
Re: [PERLON91] Ricardo Villalobos - “Any Ideas”
can't really see how you could be negative about this one. the a side is more muscular and groovy than he's been in a while (and has much more going on than most things on the sed triple pack even in this tiny one minute sample), beautiful hypnotic melody on the b side (which he's played at all his recent fabric appearances)

hm i was excited when i bought the track on UNTERTON with louderbach, thats really a kind of new approch for him and i really like it. this release feels more like same old same old to me. but i guess it fits on perlon.

A side is magic

A-side reminds me a bit of his earlier stuff on Perlon - nice!

yeah he played the B side at fabric birthday this year, Heres the vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60nmkotkCV4
The track was probably my most memorable one from that night...He played it for around 15--20 mins and kept layering that big organ sounds underneath the next tracks so you always heard it in the background...I thought my head was going to explode it was amazing.
looking forward to the new album now
