I just shoot up a bunch of crystal meth and make tracks for like 19 days straight. I wrote four albums in a row on my last bender.
Make sure your meth has extra lithium from rechargeable batteries, it will make your tracks more energetic.

Re: Totally out of inspiration. tips?
Is there anyone here that makes music completely straight?
I honestly don't know a single producer that doesn't seem to have some sort of a drug or drink problem. I actually prefer to be really high (couch lock is good for me) when making music. I can then totally zone out and get into what I am doing.
When doing the final mixdown though I prefer to be straight.

I have to be kinda 'with it', otherwise I get confused as to what is doing what and where. I just can't focus or remember what I did, or which button I moved like 2 minutes earlier.

with any kind of creative work people need to create reward systems for themselves, but I think that probably most successful people don't have drinking or drug "problems" persay::BLM:: wrote:Is there anyone here that makes music completely straight?

Where do you want to start?
Beatles, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, could go on and on off my head with that one.
