I ended up going on my own, stayed in a hostel (great for meeting people, although none of the ones I met were going to Sonar) and managed to hook up with some acquaintances who I later found out were going.Direkt wrote:If I could get some of my friends to come, I'd go. I know what you mean about travelling alone but with such a great lineup in such a good city I couldn't say no...

The closing concert by Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto was just that awesome I still don't f*in believe it.

My other main highlight was Silent Servant. Didn't expect a straight-up techno set to be one of the main highlights (as much as I love techno, obviously) but he absolutely killed it. Actress and Aphex Twin were great too. In fact I enjoyed most of the people I saw, too many 'highlights' to list but these were the main ones...

just off-parties for me this year with the zero" rooftop being most delicious. moog club was awesome, too.
