Hey guys,
Im running moog modular in ableton 8 and my question is quite simple. I just cant figure it out for some reason.. I have a patch running from the sequencer but I cant seem to find a way to record the patch into an ableton clip. How can I record the patch?

Re: Moog Modular Help.
Wait.... you got a Moog modular and can't figure out how to route the signal into ableton?
Re: Moog Modular Help.
Sorry but you should really read the manual on this one.

cant record in clip view. record in arrangement view and copy back into clip view.
Re: Moog Modular Help.
You are so very wrong. Live was designed to record in clip view.jobbanaught wrote:cant record in clip view. record in arrangement view and copy back into clip view.
1. Get input into your soundcard
1.5 create audio Channel
2. Select input on channel.
3. set monitoring from auto to off! do direct monitoring in your sound card or your tracks will have the latency recorded into them.
4. Click record to arm button.
5. Click one of the Grey record buttons in the clip view. Observe recording.

Re: Moog Modular Help.
i'm not sure i understand
1. are you talking about a moog modular hardware synth, or about the plugin version?
2. do you want to record the audio signal of the hardware synth? or are you trying to save the preset of the vst plugin into a midi clip in ableton live? (so that every time you start it sends a midi message to the plugin and loads the preset)
