there are loads of great free videos online too. just search youtube and they take you step by step to reach a certain goal.

i told my bass player to go to youtube and search for "bass lessons + any technique you want to learn", and he's came back a few weeks later with all sorts of new chops. for anything i recommend this, youtube is a free replacement for those crappy "bass for dummies" books they sell at music shops.

agreed. i had to change a puncture on my bike and youtube helped me.
