Final Scratch&Tractor into Ableton?

Does anyone know or have tried running final scratch with tracktor into ableton or if it can be done?

How do you mean exactly? what do you want to do with it?

yes you can use them simultaneously, or beat match between the two. there is information out the yingyang about various methods for matching ableton's tempo to an external source or vice versa, nudging, dragging, etc on the ableton forum.

however i too don't know if that's what you really meant or what the heck you are actually asking.

Sorry i meant if you can run tractor into ableton...kinda like a vst or something?

Kind of a redundant thing to do. If you simply need to run them simultaneously, the only thing that works EFFICIENTLY is having two seperate computers. There is all kinds of midi support with FS2 / Traktor 2.6 or whatever and beyond but as far as actually running it into aleton, although i'm sure there are some things that you can do, it really wouldn't help you any.

The basic idea was to use ableton as a real time fx machine for live mixes, thats the why I would want to :P, and yes I realize I can deejay with ableton but I still like having the vinyl feel with final scratch.
