oh my god,
finally,
the fantastic new 12" of andy vaz in persistence bit in the stores.
this record is amazing.
one of the best releases of the year, in my opinion.
the track "people inside/outside" is one of the best tracks never created by andy.
industrial influences, epic sounds.
very very dramatic.
Definitively, aunthentic hit.

I don't normally post in these threads, coz a good record is still best recognized when you listen to it at your local recordstore. But this one is different ....

Amazing record indeed, coming with a refreshing openness that at least I haven't heard from Andy Vaz before. The way ideas are worked thru here reminded my of Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being. Recommended!

I have been waiting for this since hearing it in one of Andy's live sets! I will have this as soon as i see it! The sound is very distinctive of Vaz yet with the more direct dancefloor appeal (and it is absolutely lovely)

Also looking forward to persistencebit 08 - (live in Detroit CD)

I dowloaded the Live in Detroit on Kompakt mp3 store. its mindblowing and also shows a more dance based side of Vaz. suits him quite well. the inside outside song, seems to be a theme of the entire cd, those vocalbits keep coming up again and again throughout the liveset. wonder where those have been taken from? nice one!
