hi, my name is Sheldon Drake, I'm a fairly new resident of Berlin. I used to spin experimental chillout in NYC for many years, but have always loved big nasty techno. never had the patience to learn beatmatching to the excruciating degree required for me to mangle things like I want to, but now Ableton makes that so effortless, so i am doing my best to emerge as a DJ of big elbows-up techno. I have a fairly huge website at sheldondrake.com, with loads of older chillout and dark ambient mixes, and a few new techno mixes, including Magmazeit, over two hours, about 80 tracks. there is a screengrab of the Ableton set, so you can follow along, lots of mixing. also tons of paintings and drawings there, and a tutorial on warping in Ableton. lots of tutorials on all kinds of crap actually.
