YES!! Pheek returns to his sister project Kalimari brining us no less than the best of squidgy mind enhancing riches with "Hermite 2009"
"Giggles" perceivably has a giggly and springy feel to it with it's slightly shuffled and layered rhythms full of the most carefully placed intricacies which fill only the spaces necessary to achieve the desired smiley affect. "Hermite" is a structure of tide-smoothed stones shifting in an ever morphing synchronized dance which leaves shimmering veins of rare earth minerals deposited within the deepest reaches of your late night mind.
"Moho Nahona" is more stripped down and very much a heady dive into winding fields of metallic grasses which gently spark off of each other when collided by the rush of a plasma breeze. "Sahara" is beatless while remaining just as cerebral and involving launching the listening into an ever arching cascade of dry sandy peaks and valleys which have been etched to perfection by the sun's radiant heat.
