Joe Montana, who recently caught attention with his „sol y sombra ep“on 8Bit, teams up with Andrea Introvigne (Zero8/Nuhar) to provide some seriously deep minimal house madness called „El Tuerca“! Their first mix is based on wicked organ chords and weird funny vocals on top of a steady and solid groove making up for a really outstanding sonic experience. „Mix 2“ features more percussive elements while slicing the parts of mix 1 into a really nice deep house groover.
Remixes are courtesy of Love Hertz labelheads Haterboy & Van Hagen and Berlin based, Hannover raised artist Mario Aureo. The latter just made big waves with his huge „Talking Drums“ release on Butch & Amir's brandnew Bouq label and perfectly picks up on the mood of „Mix2“ masterfully reworking the groove and adding some crazy flute fills for perfect measure. Haterboy & Van Hagen's Remix is leaning more towards the stripped back sound of „Mix1“ by adding some extra bass heaviness, chopped up vocals and a stomping drum track!
