catalog

[LetsGoOutside]

has anyone heard of an artist named "catalog"? i found a track by this artist on soulseek, and am looking for more. the id3 tags and filename look like it came off of beatport, but i don't see it on there or any other pay site i use. i can't find "catalog" on discogs.com, either. so, i'm stumped.

anywho, here's a clip from the track i found. this is just the middle three minutes with the quality taken down a bit. call me paranoid, but i'd rather not post the full track on a public web site. pretty cool piece in the vein of ellen allien's "magma".

found another one. same deal. it id3 is all beatport style. i wonder if either they used to sell this or maybe are going to and some people just managed to score it early.

this track is far tech housier than the last one. here's another clip. very nice, fun, deepish tech stuff with a cool hook:

same beatport style id3 tags and encoding as the other two files, but little info gained on the artist. a friend of mine claims to have a white label with the terms "catalog", "fck", and "001" enscribed in it, and says that it sounds very similar to this stuf. he's in colorado and will be ripping it for me when he gets off his lazy ass.
