Omnifi digital media player/HD for the auto.
With the software hacks available for this, it is quite simply the best audio player ive ever seen for managing long sets without track markers.
There is a program called Openfi that you can install into this unit instead of the stock OS and it will allow you to use the scroll wheel on the headunit part to easily flip around the entire length of the set. No more holding down the FF or RW buttons forever, trying not to press it twice and skip all the way to the beginning/end.
I found one on Woot.com last week for about $110 including shipping and the wifi card so you can dump back and forth while your car is sitting in the driveway. Or simply bring the removable harddrive into the house and directly dump your new stuff from via USB.

but this seems cool too
im now imagining what a thief would do with this deck that looks like an old 8 track,, u think he would take it? hehehe
he wouldnt have a clue what to do with this,,, those panty munchers
I know what you mean, but really, this is sooo much easier to use.
btw, you dont mount the hard drive part anywhere where it could be seen.
Just mount that faceplate somewhere. I have some really strong velcro and just put into position when im in the car, otherwise it always looks like I only have an old POS tape deck.
