Do you buy the records you play and then record them to your computer? Or do you just download stuff?
Just curious..

Question for Final Scratch and Rane Serano users:
*I support southern fruits*
I do both. If I can buy the record, I do and then record it. I like to have the option of playing it if there's no Final Scratch setup available. There are two problems:
* It's a real pain in the ass to record and clean up if you buy a lot of records at once
* Records are more expensive than buying the mp3s
The benefit of buying mp3s is that they're usually very nice quality. I got Troy Pierce's Run from Beatport the other day and am damn pleased with it. I think I might still buy the record though
Either way, I'm still happy to have the option of playing the records if I have to.

Ahhhhh, I gotcha. Yeah, I'm more than happy to support the artists. I have, though, gotten curious in the past and tried to find things online, but I've never had much luck finding 99% of the tracks I was looking for, especially new ones. Maybe people have better luck with soulseek, but I haven't tried that out.
