Europe for a month
Europe for a month
Hey guys im gonna be in europe for a mont between dec 21st and jan 19th. ill be in paris for the first 2 weeks and I start touring on the 3rd. Ill be going to Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Interlaken, Geneve, Marsaille, and Barcalona. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for sights to see or places to visit in any of these cities. I would also like to know some record stores to visit within these cities. Yes, I know I can read a book and find a bunch of places to go(which I am) but I would like to know those places which you cant find in a book. Any help would be appricated.
You should come to Antwerp!!!
It has record stores (USA Import, Wally's Groove World e.g.),
many many many places where you can go shopping,
is very attractive from a cultural/architectural/historical point of view...
Plus there are thousands of good restaurants!
And of course, you can go clubbing (www.cafe-d-anvers.com, www.cafecapital.be to name just two clubs in the centre of the city).

It would help to know what dates you will be in each city
Also, for how much time in each city
For example, for Barcelona, I think you can spend a full week and still have plenty to see. Of course, I recommend that you do the usual sightseeing: Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, Beach, Ramblas, Montjuic, Picasso Museum, Miro museum etc.
In terms of Club, check out Nitsa Club and Moog Club.
Make sure to find travel guides to help you
The Phaidon travel guides series is lots of fun: Its a guide oriented towards urbanism, fashion, clubbing, food, architecture
