Shoma - Discovery (Preview)

Post by Shoma »

This track was made out of one single .wav sample...Initially It was made for a "one sample only" competition on ableton live forums, but i really like the track, think its listenable and want to share it with you.

Any comments, tips, tricks and stuff very appreciated.

Hmm I'd rather call it trance than minimal. But I love it anyway!

The mini-intro is quite useless imo. The real intro is great, excellent kick and HH, the synth evolves nicely and "screams" before the break = love.

The break around 3' = OMG

In the last part, maybe a growling synth in 8th notes playing the same notes as the string could add some intensity and add a new parameter to make the track climb even higher... or it could break everything, so experiment.

The very end is sh!t, but the track isn't finished yet, so forget what I've just said.

Now, these are details, I love this track, k?

EDIT: I'm 10+ years younger now, thank you ^^
