Traktor on Intel Macs

I recently picked up a Macbook and have (tried to) installed Traktor 3 on it.
It wont let me activate it after many attempts.

Do you happen to know if I need to buy the Universal Binary update for it to run correctly?

It works fine on my Imac but doesnt like the Macbook?

Yeah, if you bought Traktor before they came out with the Universal Binary version (early December I think), you have to pay for the UB to use it.

Also, if you plan to use it with Final Scratch, unless you can find a copy of 3.2.0 out there, you'll be out of luck. They've removed FS support in the latest.

Any thoughts on a good controller for traktor?

to be honest, buy serato n get a faderfox controller.
