Never one to be overly preoccupied with putting the future before the past, Yousef has commissioned a stellar set of remixes to breath fresh life in to Circus Recordings debut release. Befitting of the Circus ethos, equal measure is given to established and emerging talent.

Kicking off the package is party-starter supreme, Fergie. Followers of his flourishing Excentric label will know what to expect. Industrialized, hypnotic grooves that drill deep into the darkest recesses of the sonic range. Head-twisting techno of the highest order

Tim Green brings his brand of carefully considered micro-tech house to the piece swapping the thump of the original for a shuffling groove and tribalized rhythms that bounce alongside in harmony on a double time bassline awash with spaced-out effects

Heavily endorsed by Carl Cox and Laurent Garnier, Sam Ball is on the way to becoming one of the breakthrough acts of 2009. His rework retains many of the hooky stabs that made the original so distinctive while steering things in a percussive tech house direction

Circus resident party-starter Alex Wolfenden brings a wobbly house interpretation to the package with a tight mix of jacking house and cut up vocal samples reminiscent of the looped up West Coast swing of labels such as Greyhound, Siesta and Red Melon.

Circus remix competition winner, Gareth Cheshire gets the reward for his efforts with a full commercial release of his mix. Razor sharp hi-hats spark against the fierce jacking beats that underpin a highly infectious acid-soaked electro-fied Thriller-esque bassline.
