Ryan Brogan's latest release is a beautiful sleeper with a clean minimal bassline, and synchopated melodies that string the carefully planned ups and downs together. It is certain to movie bodies in the dark. Label co-owner and producer Christian Bloch's remix is done in true Detroit fashion. He thickens the bass to remove the negative space and adds a number of synthesized layers. The track becomes thick and brooding mind meld. And Keith Kemp's remix is an interesting revision of the original track. Pushing it in the direction of Tech House, he shores up the track with a steady 4 on the floor basslline, and layers additional hi hats and carefully placed vocal sample to round out the groove. The result borders on Cosmic Disco.
