"Omar S picks up the pace for his FXHE imprint, this 4-track compilation featuring tracks from some unlikely sounding characters : DJ-Snotburger, Young Seth, Jus and the man himself – Omar S. Omar kicks things off with the mutant disco funk of “Groove-On”, the EQ’s bashed all over the place with what sounds like a flanged rustic klunk acting as the track’s backbone, absolutely wicked stuff from Detroit’s hottest producer. “Ed” from Jus is up next and is just superb, the sound of early LFO slowed down and caressed by deep washes of soul in a tip-toe 4/4 that works a treat, while Young Seth steals the b-side with a hazy trip on the excellent “Moment”. Solid solid stuff, get on it while you can!"
