Joachim Landesvatter grew up in a small town in South Germany, influenced by the musical taste of his older brothers. It wasn't before 1991 that Joachim discovered Techno music that was played by local DJs in small rural clubs in the area. In the 90s he also spotted more experimental electronic music with influences from many other styles of music. At this time he was still playing the drums in bands.

He moved to Berlin in 1995 to study Cultural Studies and communication science. To this day landesvatter's output and productions are still affected by two poles: danceable and downbeat/experimental. So far he has released minimal Techno tracks and Jazz influenced Clicks & Cuts material. He has played numerous livesets using his notebook in clubs in Berlin and South Germany, ranging from smaller clubs to bigger venues.

This ep for parotic takes a very rhythmical attack, flowing and danceable, yet with neatly snipped samples to provide you with all the glitch and funk you will need.
