I agree with cyhl - I'm not terribly interested in hearing (or buying) my favorite techno artists forays into a more "popular music" arena. It's their prerogative if that's where they want to focus their energy, but I'll stick to supporting their techno works.

i really enjoy listening to minimalhousetechnoelectro with vocals in it. The sometimes funky and cheesy (i can love you down :-) ) on this album are really effective. I hope Jay does more of this stuff!
