Nice one. Very informative. I use both monitors and headphones, not just because of the time of day/evening or where I live but actually because I get a different monitoring experience when combining the two.

I'm surprised to see that specialists believe headphone mixing is an option, even with double-checking your mix using monitors. I've been doing it anyway because of various reasons, but now maybe I will feel less bad about it, huh

Never give a fck about what anybody says, do what you want. If it gets you there, who is who to say anything?

In the last period, I'm making all the tracks through headphones.
I'm only finalizing the mixing on monitors(I only adjust bass volume on them)

i always had good expieriences with monitors they can give good stereo image and very usefull if you are not mixing in the best room.
