The effect in the intro. Is it a tape stop? What do i need to achieve this? Preferably a free VST

I'm not sure if it is tape stop. But you could definitely get similar results by using it.
Some of the crackle in the background makes me think that it is actually tape, or a vinyl that the sample is grabbed from.

hi, you could try running a short loop and put valhalla freq echo (free) on the channel, set the mix to 100% wet and free delay sync, and then just mess about with the delay time (fast sweeps from short to long delay and vice versa), and automate it or resample the results. yields fairly similar sounding results here, but there are probably better and more precise ways to achieve this effect.
