i dunno how many of you are familliar with kyma,i heard about it through taylor deupree and it's amazing.
new means of sound design are on our doorstep.

Yep, I got the cd a week ago.. the examples sound very impressive.. You can make very unique sounds with it.. But a basic Kyma system 3470$?

i don't get why kyma is so expancive,yet reaktor is cheaper and can do a whole lot more.

the target customers are not the same... from what I read on their site, kyma seems to target professional studios, sound designers, the movie industry; whereas NI targets the homestudio owners...
