what got us into minimal. We have them all twice And now just so that we don't wear them out too much we ripped them in 320's to play with serato.
It would be pssible to have a liveact simply based on those records. they are lovely!

Brinkmann's Studio 1 variations are totally brilliant.
executed in the same style as his Concept variations (dual-tonearm experimental stereo recordings, very very slow, EXTREMELY dark & trippy).
both variation series are my favorite Brinkmann releases, hands down.
back on topic:
yeah, overall Voigt is one of my top 3 artists/producers of all time (next to Larry Heard & Basic Channel). his sound is so diverse, yet so strangely cohesive; for example the differences between the Gas sound & the later M:i:5 material is vast, yet both carry a tradition of samples used in a very unique and dark manner...

just wanted to say those are the best pieces of minimal music i know of. they deserve a hall of fame.
