RIP Euterke (François Dumouchel)

Post by Zsa Zsa »

This thread has been started to create awareness for the tragedy that occurred on late Friday evening (June 28th) to a Montreal gem, François Dumouchel, or as most would know him, Euterke.

He was a brilliant artist, who played an avid role in the Montreal community for many years. He was not only a talented musician, but an amazing person whose life was taken from him by a reckless SUV driver.

We should spend these days remembering who he was by what he has done for music, and how he has impacted the rest of us through not only his sound, but his passion for life.

My heart goes out to his family and all his friends, and anyone else who he has reached through his existence.

"An accident Friday night in which a Jeep driver plowed a scooter and dragged the machine for a kilometer while fleeing the scene, killed local DJ Euterke, whose offstage name was François Dumouchel. The hit-and-run driver was tracked down and will be arraigned tomorrow."

Big commotion here in montreal about this. Everyone is pissed off, shocked, sad, disgusted... He was one of the sweetest guy you could meet, a really gentleman, very generous too.

The condition of his death are horrible, which just saddens us even more.
He'll live on with the music he left us...
