in what ways he is hit and miss ? I have many livesets of him and i've never found out a mistake in mixing.

WFT in a positive way yes :D I really like his choice of records. He dares to experiment and thats worth a compliment. I really hate dj's who do a set that sounds like one track. A set should sound like an adventure to me... different styles, different moods. And villalobos does that IMO. His mixing is sometimes not that tight but ist always a surprise.......

if i had to find something to moan about him is that some of his sets are too relax for a party in a club but apart that he's great !

I think he/they meant hit or miss in regards to his original productions not necessarily his mixing skills. His original material can be kind of boring sometimes.

that's true about his productions though I only like Bredow. Recomended to you guys
