i've never seen ricardo villalobos live...
last weekend i planned a trip to buenos aires - argentina to go to a party, where ricardo was playing
but life is so unfair, that he injured his leg when getting on the plane, so he couldn't play...
unbelievable isn't it?

man.. the guy it's a real musician... maybe does nothing on you.. but talking bout electronic music.. he is the man when becomes about music. the same way that richie hawtin is about technology....minimal house wrote:Im not the biggest expert on Ricardo but his productions have never really done anything for me. His dj sets are usually pretty good, but have a tendency to lose my attention at times.
ricardo made a 6 or 7 years music conservatory... just listening to some of his prods in the au harem du archimede you can tell that. i know... there are no rules for taste.. but... you make your own productions.. i'm not trying to make a comparision, not at all ( btw, you rock) but... measure that.
