Carl Craig/Paperclip People

Now...here's a producer whose tracks for me personally, stand out as true and genuine. I can listen to this man's tracks and remixes over and over and never get tired of them...one of the true revolutionaries of techno and house.

he's the only oldschool detroit guy that still keeps quality and consistency on the same page. (imo)

I have to agree with you.

Not only has he kept the quality consistent, he hasn't gotten a huge head about his place in techno history.

What, we didn't have a Carl Craig thread yet? Shame on us!

My favourite producer. Never heard anything from him that wasn't quality. He's about the only producer whose releases I can buy without pre-listening (okay, he and Ricardo...). Great guy!

he has mastered keeping the same loop interesting throughout a track! which not many others seem to be able to do!

That Junior Boys remix he recently made is a good example of that.

indeed, not reacting a lot on producers, but this man is a true musican and deserves some good words.

Shame that there are a few of those who really make music appealing to everbody in this scene.
