It's wonderful to see this appreciation thread grow rapidly.. MH is most deserving of all the props and respect.

Ditto. I'm a huge fan of his, which was cemented when he played at Cargo, a small club here in Adelaide. He was drinking from a bottle of water (after jumping around playing an accordian and looping it back) which he idly began tapping on the mic. Next thing that sound had been multiplied, twisted, and bent every which way into an improv track created on the spot. I have utmost respect for his musical talent - look forward to seeing his future directions.

His record under the alias "The Music Man" called "Homemade" is without a doubt one of the sickest records I've ever bought. I wish I could find a new copy mine's getting all screwed up from being played over the years. If you can find it buy it. It's probably my favorite stuff he's ever done outside maybe Wishmountain.
