Sick for hip hop. I would never try and produce techno on one though. (That's just me)

No I haven't, but I have an MPD, which I use for hip-hop and dusty house...
Pretty sure some sick techno can be made on them though...I will try once I get my MPC 4K

Once I saw the X I dug around a bit.... Never knew about the Akai MPC 5000.
