Romanian Tracknames
Could somebody tell me why Romanian releases always have those specific titles? I assume they're in Romanian. I can't make out if they mean something specific or not. Also it seems to me that it's just Romanian artists that give their tracks and records those names. Not trying be racist but i just like to know
Re: Romanian Tracknames
Could you give some examples of what you mean by 'specific titles'?
Get busy listenin', or get busy dyin'.

Maybe that came out wrong because Dutch is my first language.Pervade wrote:Could you give some examples of what you mean by 'specific titles'?
Anyway:
Ada Kaleh: "detasare (partea a doua)"
Alsi: lu'Alsi
Petre: Tulip En, Doar Unul, Ksses În Plic
etc.

Re: Romanian Tracknames
Jokes aside, google translate some of the words and you'll find out what the titles mean.
But some titles are just play-on-words in romanian, so google translate won't help a lot.

Ada Kaleh: "detasare (partea a doua)" = detached (part two)
Alsi: lu'Alsi = Alsis (as in "it's Alsis track")
Petre: Tulip En = Tulip en ??(random words?)
Doar Unul = Just one
Ksses În Plic = Kisses in a envelope

You should check Sepp's tracks, he has the most creative titles. Indeed, romanians have some specific names i think they get inspiration form their ordinary life activities.
