Have you checked the prices lately? At least here in Finland, the prices of 2nd hand Technics have risen a lot in the last year. You used to be able to get a pair for 600€, now they're at least 1000€. I've seen some for even more than that.

it was the same here, but then the prices decreased again to a normal level.. imo there are still a lot of turntables out there .. so the 1000€ for one couldn`t hold, since no one is willing to pay this price..

In Denmark you can still be lucky and get them for around this price too (but sure some are much higher)...

yeah that price is the current price.

i have a second hand shop near me that has a pair for £420 i think. ill need to go past the shop again, but i see them the otherday and thought about buying one for my living room.

are you telling us you somehow missed every single website in the world talking about how technics are now out of production and won't be produced anymore?
I wasn't sure what the final outcome was. There were so many conflicting reports on whether they stopped being produced or not. I'll probably just get another gemini belt drive. This one lasted 15 years before the motor died (the other one I lost somehow). I might consider a used one, but I've seen so many in bad shape, I would have to see it in person.
