have you seen Despicable Me ?? that's my favourite animation movie, i highly recommend it.. it's really funny, laughs guaranteed

despicable me is quite good for a children movie

I'd recommend some older stuff as Lupin the Third movies (Castle of Cagliostro is very good, think proto Cowboy Bebop)
Also The Flying Ghost Ship and Miyazaki's Nausicaa and Laputa.
And Osamu Tezuka's Legend of the Forest

Drive and Melancholia has been two movies that I put in my list as best of 2011.

i really didn't like Drive at all..bored me to tears and Gosling's acting .. oops i mean his staring off into space for 1/2 the movie got annoying.

watch Woody Allen then, he talks all the time
his acting radiates mystery, not so many actors can do that and the director did such an amazing work, with those images, taking care of the details that sucks you in and that soundtrack is really powerful. Chemical Brothers had composed the soundtrack.

great recommendations... i like good animes.. didnts see alot, but akira is awesome.. also read the manga books which is insanly great art too me!
