Hi
I am new to the boards, but a follower of dance. I have seen some of the older dj's adjust from hard house to minimal, from techno to tech house etc and I have listened to what some of them are now calling dub techno on decks.de.

In my opinion, much of it is mediocre techno, the sort of stuff that clears a floor.
Example:
Marcel Dettmann, Planning (an ok techno track) but is it dub?

Dubstep to me needs to be left alone and undiluted. There is a lot of soul in dubstep, but also there is a lot of soul in good techno. I don't think they mix.

Don't "ever" me cloutier. Funny how my reply did not appear. As a new member it seems I am not allowed to say that the Berliners are calling their tracks Dub, when really it is just poor techno.

Cloutier. I can see after reading most of the posts on this forum that you are bullied. I am sorry about my reply, but you should listen to what others have to say. We all love music and I had no idea you had such a closed mind, but that is no excuse. Chin up.

haha, thread is going epic again !

@quelquechose
1. welcome to the board
2. if you tell people that they are closed-minded please check following thing:

Joined Date: in this example its 2004, that means cloutier posts nearly 8 years on this music board.

so what i would think if i see this date is:

a guy who posts 8 years on a music board maybe knows one or two things about music.
and then i would think: maybe i should think about what he wrote.

what you clearly didnt do. all youve done was getting offended by the word "ever".

8 years! So you will hold his jacket while I give a new opinion? Are you alive when the Berliners who take your money play whatever is new and make a mess of it?
