I think you're being awkward for the sake of it.

Clearly, Instrusion, Rhythm & Sound etc. is more ambient and atmospheric than say, something by Brendon Moeller which is aimed more at the dance floor.

Some producers that I think make more upbeat/club-friendly dub techno:-

Luke Hess;
Brendon Moeller;
Deadbeat;
Scuba (Mostly under his SCB alias);
Levon Vincent.

Cheers kgw, the nobodies who posted thier useless cutting responses are just the usual trolls you have to put up with on these types of forums, I'll check out your suggestions but it's amazing how these supposed gods of "dub techno" can get a sarky and then NOT even bother to post something suitible for the dancefloor, I can only guess ya'll don't actually know much about dub techno in order to help out? All the producers I quoted ARE generally quite ambient and down tempo, and if as one of these DJ's seems to think they can ALWAYS be dropped in the middle of a peak time set then they most probably are playing peaktime sets in the coma ward at their local hospital. please don't be dicks it' you that give chin strokers a bad name. . . .

I think you already know them, but I think anything by the berlin boys (Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Fengler,...) would do nicely I think. Works on the iPod and the floor ;)

Ostgut Ton, Omar S, Conforce, Jonas Kopp, and so on... Our upcoming releases should also be more or less in the area you're looking *spam mode*.

It's definteley perfect stuff to mingle with some tech house and even some more 'uplifting' minimal'ish tunes. I tend to play more or less the same things.

It's funny how simple things can be, from time to time :)

maybe exploring a tad bit farther in to the productions of just ONE of the people you named would have given you a wealth of information, but instead you want to start acting like a dck.

if you couldn't make it so far on the internet to find the above i just posted, then you clearly aren't doing a good job at using your fingers, your brain, or your ears, so why the hell am i going to spout off things i've spent years hunting for?
