agreed. we had the "user mixes" here before and on the opinion of a mod, we
started putting them in the members section.. I thought just a few months ago about
changing it back..

case in point - as this thread.. it was a benefit to our users and was a need..
perhaps we should move it back? it did create more promotions things being posted in the general section, however it was effective and a benefit for our users..

I think that member mixes were better in the General Section of the Forum. Personally I don't really go to the members section that much, not even when I used to go on mnml.nl a lot, mostly because you have to log in to get there. I usually checked out the general section mostly so I could scoff at people complaining about moot things and beliefs they hold close and dear to heart in a laughable manner. You know, silly ideas, like machines have souls and crap like that. Machines have have interesting physical properties... and that is about as far as it goes unless you are imbuing it with your life essence... in which case I would suggest that you should just upgrade to a better machine. :roll:

That being said... general chat gets a lot of views and as such is a good place for people to place their mixes. I liked it better with member mixes in general chat... it gives people something to listen to while reading.
