where do you go to party??

for us in birmingham uk, theres really only one venue, the medicine bar.
they have a lot o really good guests, but hey - no minimal unless i play. its tragic. they do have occasional people, but at nights of tech-house or deep house, anything but minimal.
swayzak have played, spektrum are on soon, hmmmmm, thats about it.
at least i'm putting geoff white on soon.

what about you guys??

Where am I going? I visit every Awakenings party (opening dj is sometimes minimal).. Besides that, I often go to Doornroosje in Nijmegen (NL) to visit the Planet Rose nights (http://www.planetrose.nl)... Sometimes I visit another party but since I play quit a lot and when I don't have to play, I go support my brother with his live act (http://www.directpositiveinfluence.com)...

here in croatia we have pretty much same situation like you in uk.......a lot of tech-house, bad techno[groovy, funky].......

I visit Simplon (http://www.simplon.nl) a lot. They program some minimal (technootjes). Hero's like Tobi Neumann, Luciano, Reinhard Voigt have visited Simplon.

I played Simplon twice... june 7 last year, and january 24 this year... Cool place!

We usaully go out round Leuven, Belgium. Mostly really fine deep, tech-house parties, or an occasional drum n bass party. For minimal there ain't sh!t to do here...but I hear someone is going to change that in the future....

i think we are blessed in Belgium or at least i feel blessed in Brussels.

www.recyclart.be (1 minute walk) static dancin* parties with as guests till now: Krikor, LoSoul, Reinhard Voigt, Michael Mayer, Steve Bug, Luciano & Tobias Thomas. plus the location is a grafitti train station that is still being used! da bomb!!!

www.fuse.be (10 minute walk) 10 years of techno, but they did some mnml too yet: michael mayer first time in belgium was absolutely wicked!! he even played kiss i was made for loving you

soon @ fuse are jacek sienkiewicz, rene breitbarth, and mister dave clarke is a resident over there :mrgreen:

and there's Kozzmozz in Gent too if you like more pounding techno too (in the same place where there's 10 days off atm)

there are a few house venues too in belgium and 2 shitty electroclashrockhouser&b places

and lot's of trance&dance of course :twisted:
