i've seen people on soulseek and xltronic.com laugh about his death...i find that very stupid.

Whether you're religious or not, there is no reason to laugh about the man's death. I hate it when I see people on forums, messageboards etc laughing about things like this. It's just so pointless.

He was a legend in his own time, doing things such as rebelling against the authorities in Poland, and bringing in a lot of reforms to the Catholic church, trying to make it more modern. Whoever becomes the next Pope will have a difficult job to follow him.

I know mate, you don't think this is the place for a conversation like this. It's like the old joke about when you go to the pub you should try to avoid talking about politics or religion, so that you don't get in a fight!

Am not particularly religious myself, but I do respect what he did as a person.

i heard that all the parties and all the clubs in Rome got closed yesterday night because of this, what a bummer for those people..

like we fucking care!!!!
