So how does this sound on a big system? With overhang on the bass and kick like that, I can imagine the low end just sounding like a blur.

not my cup of tea.

The ideas are nice here but it sounds way too muffled. The bass and kick really need to be toned down. If this is made for people in a home environment then its fine I guess, but still needs to go down a touch I'd say.

On the plus side though, its original sounding, the percussion from what I hear works nicely and the dark feel definately comes through. If you worked with the elements this could a good different interpretation.
