I.AM.AN.EXIT - new Ableton tracks (deep/dubby/minimal-ish)

Post by i-am-an-exit »

Hi,

Some tracks I made using ableton, which may suit the board:

Move
http://www.i-am-an-exit.com/music/i_am_an_exit-move.mp3

This is deep dub inspired track. The main synth bit is a stab sampled from "also sprach zarathrustra" - the theme from 2001.

Merde

Another deep and dubby track, made on the same day as Move. Every single sound/synth/bit of percussion in this track, apart from the kick drum and 909 clap, were sampled from a french horror movie called "Deep in the Woods" (not a great film, but nice sound effects!)

An other track:
Numb

And there's more other types of tracks:

One track at a time for me...1st move...clearly two bassline intersecting each other or so me speaks talk to me...nice intro of the beats and then transition into the kick...definitely like your sampling of sounds...makes things abit mysterious..pads have a nice reverb on them...track is definitely on note musically never missing and well just letting me zone out...good builds and transitions...i like it...maybe i can play it with final scratch? thanks for sharing, will try and review next track soon :)
