i'm teaching my son Ableton, but we need a couple of decent analogue style synths and a decent drumkit.
any recomendations ?
what do guys think are the best ones out there ?

yes good advice, the only problem i see is that the correct material is totally subjective. personally i like music to breath and have lots of dynamics, whereas some people prefer their music to be compressed to fck and pumping. its all just personal taste. it has to be music you aspire too, stuff y...

yeah it must be the card, which is a NI Audio Kontrol, you'd expect that to work with Ableton

Using a firewall isn't going to do anything to him.. The problem is that he has to deactivate the wireless card because it causes latency issues in ableton or other music softwares i think (hence the glitches). So even if he use a firewall to allow only ableton, he's going to have glitches because ...

it doesnt work, because you have to be connected to the internet to use the demo of 9, but i have to disable the internet to use Live on my laptop or it glitches to fck.
