For me it's usually the tracks that do not stand out immediately that are the ones which i will still be listening to in a few months/years. This applies especially with Perlon artists i find.

if you are using logic you could try the sample delay that comes with it (same as delaying the left or right signal by a few milliseconds). Some of Dimbiman's productions ('First Laki' for instance) have lots of stereo delays going on and you can hear lots of background noises panning around, the ch...
