USB is the easiest choice. I tried that remote stuff but it's challenge to setup, I think I gave up as well :) I'm sure with enough googling it would work. Might also consider doing Ethernet transfer. It would be faster than wifi. I also found if my laptop is a Mac using VSTs I can transfer project ...

What is your overall goal? are you trying to have a basskick to go along with vinyl? to thicken up the low end in some way? might be better to be in the digital domain or use a drum machine to match beats to.

Can it load dx100 sounds ? I guess it's worth a try.
Silly of me to use dexed but it is so much easier loading patches into it than the Tx7 module I have. I should be embarrassed. But I'm not... that extra effort takes time.

Good call, I was playing with dexed vst tonight and made a few bass patches that had a sense of realism, never have much of a clue what im doing with FM though. -frown 2 I have yet to meet somebody who's got a clue about FM. :lol: DEXED is great man! Last time I tried I could not get it to load DX7...

Common distraction to go analog for house bass... try a digital synth something like a DX7. lots of great bass sounds there and used on many classic records.
