i sugest, you wait a bit untill you can spend some more money on monitors, i think it is important you have a decent pair, i've got a pair of dynaudio bm5 and i really like the sound, for a audio/midi interface you can go for an emu usb, and you can have a really decent soundcard for the price of 20...
