thanks for advices.i think i m going for doepfer pocket dial :) but one last silly question of me.actually i've never had an experience with a midi device (my oxygen 8 connected via usb).i have a audiophile 2496.do i need anything else to connect doepfer,or i'm just gonna connect midi outs of soundc...

my choices are widening.
1) edirol pcr-m30 & behringer eurorack ub 1204
2) edirol ur-80,pic
i like ur-80 but it's expensive.i think first choice is more right

after several trial versions of sofwares,i've decided to go for sonar 5.now,i want a midi controller next to my oxygen 8.these are my options:
m-audio UC-33E or a combination of behringer ROTARY BCR2000 & FADER BCF2000.any experience for any of them?
