i thought that if i didn't use timestretch (i mean any tempo changes), or groove changes (i mean swing) i would not impact the sound quality... Unfortunately that's true only if you use repitch (and beats maybe, but I'm not sure). A stupid thing IMO, but it's like that. Ableton should make this mor...

i don't use timestretch on recorded files... but it still sounds like "an old stinky shoe".... :? i know that using timestretch reduces audio quality, and this issue has been discussed looooong here and in the ableton board, with different opinions... mine is that the deepth is failing in...

There's no virtual pc for macbooks, that was an emulator for the PowerPC cpu.
On the Intel macs you can simply install windows XP along with os X and choose at boot up which one to load.
