have you looked at the m-audio ozonic, a little more expensive but better features (hey!). i'm thinking of getting one.
Not convinced that USB can handle the audio rate, the ozonic has firewire and 4 audio channels (+ headphone out) over firewire.
just a thought...

i think that section is for controlling ableton live, because you can see the live logo there. really nice if this is the case. I heard those green live panels were just cardboard overlays used in the display. I was wondering if those were jog dials (rotate around) which can be pressed at the top, ...

http://www.mawzer.com/index.htm ...looks damn interesting. Yes, but according to http://createdigitalmusic.com/index.php pretty expensive - 700$ for backplane, and up to 180$ for modules... Like that xone:3d though... But I don't see classic A&H filters there... Maybe it'll be on final product....
