Apparently enjoyment of electronic music with a minimal aesthetic leads to violent behaviour. ;) Oh, and btw-- I once got stoned and accidentally deleted 2 years worth of not-backed-up tracks on an external drive. And then I freaked out and accidentally knocked the drive off the table onto a hardwoo...

Finally listened to the stickam. Very good set. Some things a little too loud here and there and an awkward transition or two, but that all goes with the MD territory. I really think you should focus on putting a few releases out soon. So many of your loops just scream out to be tracked out. Don't m...

Man and I used to think I was fast on those MD controls... When I buy a new one I'll have to work on my speed. Of course I've always had a much more full studio to work with, so maybe that's why I failed to focus so resolutely on the ol' MD. I miss it... As for the video-- not particularly i...

Cool, I'll check it out tonight. Unfortunately I don't have my machinedrum anymore--I sold it to a cool Italian producer about a year ago. When I have the money I'm going to buy another one though, I really miss it. I had one of the first ones made, so it'll be nice to have a new one with all the ne...

You are never at the end of learning when it comes to machinedrums. Start really digging into the LFOs and global settings. Those LFO's can control anything--including other LFO's. Think about that. It doesn't all have to be random either. If you spend the time thinking about all the possibilities, ...

Well, do what you want. I don't always hate bloops, it's just that most producers make tracks that don't even sound good, so why bother with all the noodling? In your case I'm sure the bloops will be good, so I'm not worried.

Hey, I listened to your latest finally and really liked it. I think that the whole scene is full of random-knob twiddling crap that has no connection to the minimal aesthetic at this point, and I can't tell you how refreshing it is to hear music that actually keeps it simple without randomly changin...

Hey, glad things are still going well for you. Instead of a laptop, maybe consider using a small hardware sampler. Laptops are a pain in the ass and crash all the time, plus people get more excited with three (still using that synth?) pieces of hardware than one or two pieces of hardware and a comp....
