Me too. This sort of cultural pluralisum is rife in most pop music and modern hiphop. You can hear the love for something if it is sampled with the right intentions.

Yeh, I have the Yamaha HS80's and love them, but the HS50's are great for the price, if not a bit "bright" in colour.

The issue with getting 8 inch cones is that you need the space for them but I agree, for dance music 5 or 6 inch can be a bit restricting.

Nice monitors. Still, I know people who make increadably clean productions with less and people that make rubbish productions on amazing systems. The monitors are not going to be the final word in quality production.

Also, buying tip - Listen to a whole load a monitors in store before you buy! You will know when you hear the ones you like. Only use our advice as a guide. Let you ears choose. 8)

I have heard that the M-Audio speakers are not great. I would get a nice pair of KRK Rokit 5's or Yamaha HS50's. They might not have great bass due to their size (you can always get a sub at a later date) but their a good price and sound really good and flat. Fostex have a great, meaty sound too for...
